ABOUT US (NOT)

The RCIA team is made up of clergy, church staff and lay volunteers who have a passion for RCIA's mission.  Many of us have been through the RCIA process ourselves and are therefore uniquely aware of the anxieties people have when trying to decide if RCIA is right for them.  Be assured that the RCIA team is not here to push you in any particular direction, but instead to help you take the next steps in your faith journey, wherever they may lead.

In short, it is not about us...it is about you.

Sherri DiSalvo

Sherri DiSalvo grew up in Grand Forks, ND, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota.  She lived in Ardmore, PA for several years, and worked for the American College of Underwriters in Bryn Mawr, PA.  She moved to Florida in 1970 and is retired from Florida Power and Light Company after 26 years of service.  Sherri and her husband, Carl, live in Jupiter.  Sherri joined St. Peter when it was first formed in 1987, where she began attending bible study classes.  She has been an RCIA team member for many years.  Sherri experiences a deep sense of satisfaction from helping RCIA participants on their journey of faith, which she says also enhances her on-going journey.

Earl Webb

Earl Webb is a 20 year member of St Peter Parish and a convert to Catholicism who made his leap of faith at a time when RCIA was not fully instituted within the Church.  He has been an RCIA team member for a number of years, and hopes to return soon as a Catechist in the Religious Education Program at St Peter.  Earl is a native of Florida, a graduate of FSU and, after a term of service in the US Army, had a 32 year career as a local and Federal law enforcement officer.  He and his spouse of 53 years, Carole, have raised five children and are blessed with eleven grandchildren, all of whom live in Florida.  Earl gains strength and understanding from being allowed to walk with others on a journey towards a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
